sanciok 09-12-2003, 01:24 AM Hi there!
i'm just tryng to reproduce iceberg with a sort of "ice-age" (the film) look.
Everything here is procedural!
Used DiTools for the landscape!
Any C&C??

Hi Sanciok,
I think it has definitve the Ice-Age look, very nice.
I would make the iceberg a little more edgy.
cheers, Bob

nono JIII...
I used DiTools Dishaper... is a "brice" like method.
The shader o the ice is not that complex... the secret it ChanLum and a touch of transparency!!

Nice, I think you have achieved the desired Ice Age look. Nice shader work. I agree that a few more edges would look good, afterall Icebergs calf from the sheer walls of glaciers etc..so maybe on side with steep a wall?

me_agree!
great fristy-frosty island
I hope you also show us a higher res
and the render time would also be interestring - chanlum can sometimes be quite intensive

is this part of an animation? The snow looks great.
The iceburg looks more like a snow cover island though (imho).
