View Full Version : Advanced Render
Terro 09-11-2003, 09:27 PM Hey guys, sorry to bug you guys for this, but can someone post an image rendered with a regular render then one with advanced render. I got some cash save up and I'm thinking of picking up this module along with BP2, hell I want all the modules maybe thats why I'm picky about this decision. I'm sure I wil get BP2 and I'm really interested in AdvRen. Thanks in advance.

I don't have the time to make a comparison right now, so i'll show you a comparison image made with Arnold for 3DSMax, the difference between the two pics is due to the Global Illumination, which is the key feature of the Advanced Render module, the results with C4D (with/without the AR) would be more or less the same:

As far as I know, a "normal" rendering will look the same in the standard renderer as in the advanced - the advanced renderer "only" gives you radiosity, caustics, hdri etc... The image quality of standard scenes is the same in both.
(anybody correct me if I'm wrong...? :D)
