not sure if i should post this here or in the modeling section, but since it's more related to anatomy and asthethic that any actualy modeling difficulty i figure out this is the better place

so i wanted to create beautiful feet for my future female models so im scultping this generic ones.
it's kinda hard to find good reference on feet, and ive looked pretty much everywhere(ppl around me, 3dsk, porno(yeah, that too), beautiful female models, and so on. 3dsk has great references, but unfortunatly i havent found really many pretty ones.

which makes me come across a point. what are considered beautiful feet? can u guys give some examples? i know for instance that in art(classical at least) if the toe next to the thumb is longer than the thumb that is considered "beautiful"(i learned that in an art class, now if that was BS or not nowadays i do not know)

i kinda like these ones, but im not sure if they are considered by most people's standarts as beautiful feet(and also cant find good references of feet that look like those

and these last ones are the ones im actually sculpting.

i know beauty is subjective but your second ref sure has some long toes.

anyway. the obvious issues i see is that the base on the outer side of the foot should be flatter to the ground. there also needs to be more of an arch at the top of the foot but that may be an illusion due to the base not being flat making the foot seem thin from the side.

also you got the top of the foot all sloping down in a straight line. the top of the foot should have a slight arch down to the toes and the toes should then angle slightly to meet the ground. i think the mistake is from using floating feet as reference. in the top photo the model has her feet stretch out and the second picture shows the arches better but still angled and not a neutral pose.

i may be wrong :banghead:
