View Full Version : the Pose Mixer

Hi,

Quick question, when I use the Pose Mixer (MOCCA) for facial animation, I come across a small problem.

I have a face, and I've created copies of the face (arranged somewhere to the side of my character), each with a different expression. I made a neutral pose and called it "Default". I went to Pose Mixer and added all my face poses. But what I noticed was that when I tried to move the slider for lets say "Happy" face, my original model will deform but ALSO TRANSLATE (move) to the position of the Happy face.

So for me to fix this, I have to put all the faces in the same coordinate.

Any way to prevent PoseMixer from moving my heads? I didn't try to make instances of the original head, I made copies. When I get home I will try to make instances.

Thanks!
Leo :D

put the morph-copies of your face into a null that has the same position as the object above(parent)of the animated face.
Take it out of your skeleton and the motionmixer (although the manual says differently.)
It seems Motionmixer uses the local position-vector to morph.
Greetings,
Olli
