Sweet looks great,, what program,,, ya got more pic's and wire,, yada-yada,,
where is the animation, i wanta see,, :D

The decals could use a little bit of weathering,, other than that.. and the red on the tail is too bright I think..

I have to agree with EightDecay, the decals are just too nice. You did such a nice job weathering the panels and such, but not the decals?

Fix that and this will be great.

Well done man!

Ok, software used, Lightwave 7.5 for modeling & rendering. Photoshop 6 for the textures.

Thanks guys for the comments and suggestions. Agree with both of you regarding the wear on the decals. Thanks.

Here's another render (with pilot)

What a cool name for a plane. I remember the days we could say the "f" word in school and get away with it cause it was history class.
The modeling you did was very good. excellent work on texturing as well. What hurts this is the render. It looks more lilke the garbage output you get from the scannliner Blender.
Now i've used lightwave and know it can do better than this. Since you invested some nice quality in this model, why not go all the way with it? This is something I would be proud of.

TheWriter - No1, thanks for the complimets.
No2, If you could possibly point out what is wrong with the render maybe I would find your comments helpfull. Is it the lighting? Lack of background? Any pointers would be appreciated.

Yes I do believe the lighting could be greatly improved. What settings did you use? The problem here lays in the fact it looks like a miniature plastic toy made into a good look-alike. :shame:

The Writer - basically, I have a rim light at the back, up high. A key light from the camera side but to the rear of the aeroplane, and a few fills, one around the front but on the camera side and one pointing to the underside. I'm downloading some HDR images to try play around with lightwaves HDRI.

Ive also added a wireframe of the FockeWulf.
