Hello to all of you out there searching for the perfect job. Here's a thought. Have you ever considered contracting an agent? Sometimes it can be a great help having someone to do the footwork for you. For those of you unfamiliar with the client/agent relationship, the agent does the scouting while you do the job.
Many agents such as MIA don't take pay on a hourly basis, but rather work off commission, usually a 30/70% split (which is always negotiable), the artist making the greater percentage.
In addition to finding you gigs, the agent is responsible for the contracting, prospecting, and invoicing, leaving you free to do what you do best.

My firm, MIA Marketing, is taking on five new clients this fall. We are looking for only the best of the best in 2D/3D artists, graphic designers, VFX, and concept artists.
