View Full Version : Edge extrude after 8.2...

I was using Extrude on edges in my poly modeling, but after loading the 8.2, its now creating extra lines and points that I don't want or need. Anyway to stop this???:annoyed:

Hi,
the edge tools haven't changed from 8.1 to 8.2. Could you please check this with 8.1? If 8.2 produces worse results then 8.1 please send an example scene with comment to thw Maxon support, so we can take care of it.

prolly the problem happens because now the shortcut alt is used for navigation, try pressing ctrl+shift when extruding, it should solve the problem.

Yes even we testers were totally caught off guard by that one, becauseof the new maya navigation built int, alt won't work as a modifier for modeling commands.

Is there an equivalent for mac, ctrl drag works, shift drag works but ctrl+shift drag doesn't
