the first thing that doesn't look right is the car's perspective, you should use wider angle for the car, because it's way different from the image's. and the surface is also a little too glossy.

Agree with others.
The model and textures are lovely, but it doesn't quite blend well into the background. :)

Argh, ugly car...shape looks like a LeBaron :p

your backgrpound pic is blurry the car isn't! (cheap digicam or dv cam?)

Also the reflection need work, like already said.

The texture on the model is definately too reflective and shiney to be an 80's car. My brother recently sold his 89 Miata and it only had 20k on it with no rust. I don't care how many coats of wax he'd put on it, it would never shine like my 00' Celica. Its just the technology of the paint, it was never that good. Thats problem A. Problem B is the reflections in the windsheild of the car, they are too blurry and blown out (over exposed). It seems like your using HDRI which is good, but you need to tone everything down a bit. Remember that your going for an 80's car, so it shouldn't look 03' showroom clean.

Thanks for all the constructive replies.

I thought the perspective did look a bit off and the angle thing is definately it. Thanks mihkeltt :)

And I'll work more on the glossyness. That's an interesting thought about the paint from the '80s I didn't even consider that. I'll have a look at some more paint jobs from that era.

As for the comments about the car being "ugly" etc. well.. I modeled it for someone else and that's what he wanted and no it wasn't a "cheap" dv cam it's a picture I downloaded from the internet I didn't take it.

Don't you just love positve people :thumbsup:

what kinda tbird is this... I dont even reconize it..... anyway for the car itself it looks ok.. the reflection is way much... and I do think u should work on the model itself more... cause really i have no idea what yr that car is... it looks to be about either late 70's or mid 80s if its the ones from the early 90s it needs defined more in the front.... but then again i dont know cars much... I just lived in them all the way up to my neck in puddy... a million yrs ago...

::EDIT::

plus i think the wheels come out to far from the wheelwell... the wheels in otherowrds seem to be to wide.... sorry tired and cant think much at 1 time...
