so everyone has seen the Michael Jackson video and other videos that do the same thing im after here.
question is how to set up a morphing texture with a morphed object.
i.e. I have a box that is red. it now morphs into a sphere that is blue.

instead of the colors being animated i want to use texture maps. 2 in fact. one that morphes into the other slowly.

all your help is greatly appreaited in advance.

you might have to use something like Elastic reality(really easy to use), and have the Mat'l as a movie. I don't understand why AfterEffects or Combustion don't have those functions. anyone shed some light on that?

There's a Morpher material that works with the Morpher modifer. Look it up.

Morpher, free software (downloadlink at the bottom) (http://www.asahi-net.or.jp/~FX6M-FJMY/mop00e.html)

Haven't checked this prog myself, but i think this will do the job.

Forgot to add... it doesn't morph UVs... you only get the UVs that exist on the base object.

Morph-O-Matic has a cool material morpher... worth a look. Click the Demo link for a movie.

posm thx for the help, that is what i was looking for. I forget that 3dmax uses "material" as a way of meaning texture. When i did my search that completly skipped my mind.

Thx again for all the help ppl.
