Hello World,I know many scripts & plugin which are running on many forums post.But every one are divided in small small ,,,,,so let's add Speed,Desire Look,User Friendly,More Functionality.May be better then Rayfire....ya far better then Rayfire..Nothing is an impossible.huh..Great hope....
And i think here senior people are Rocket Scientist..So,plz do something for our maya..And before start to make anything,i think we have to take opinion from every dudes(wht they want?).
Here is my Requirement
*Random Pre-Shatter (Like Voronoi)
*Image Based Pre-Shatter
*Curve based Pre-Shatter
*Mouse Pointer To pre-shatter
*Target Based Pre shatter(Ex:Bullet hit glass on specific target)
So,dudes make ur wish....

Interesting list, I suggest you Shatter it! plugin, It is voronoi based and performs already:

- Random shatter
- localized shatter
- curve based shatter

In addition it computes the dynamics motion, and very fast, here a tutorial in curve based shatter:

2. Break multiple objects into multiple pieces.
3. Voronoi Algorithm Fracture.
4. Preview options for cutting plane and Voronoi cutting locations.
5. Chip Off chunks either random or at selected components.
6. Spline Cutting. And Multi-Spline Fracture.
7. Custom Chunk Creation.
8. Simple Maya Dynamics setup.
9. Supports boolean or poly cut
10. Path Fracture (Voronoi only)

polycut command is eating too much time .....any more option ??? to get speed like worlds super fast train TGV...

1. make sure to have your uv window closed. (this will slow it down alot)
2. make sure to have your script window closed.(this will slow it down a little)

how many iterations are you running?
50 iterations takes about 10 seconds for me. the more iterations you run the slower it will get. it has to calculate area of every object after it has been cut so i knows which one to cut next.

I don't think MEL cmd can do this hyper work.....i want to invite master of c++ & python with
David Schoneveld (national algebra champion) & Duncan Brinsmead (principal scientist) for this solution.

Using "Voronoi Shatter with Matrix Aim" i can shatter simple cube in 95-100 small parts in 2min15sec on my comp with 4GB RAM.

I'd love to try your script and see how it holds up based on the many other solutions. However, not to be an ass.. I can't justify paying for it... :hmm:

In most case ,we place particle first & then script place locator on position of particle & then cut cut cut cut cut.....But how to do this using MEL????
suppose if i input value=10 & select the OBJ ...Run the Script.....Output>>>script will place 10 particle randomly inside the volume of OBJ.....
