View Full Version : Should I thank contributers?
misterwolfy 04-23-2010, 12:15 PM Is it good form to thank contributors, by posting a "Thanky You!" post or whatnot, when the answer has been arrived at?
I ask because i essence it is an empty post. But I always like to thank the generous people who help out.
Please advise.

Yes, absolutely. It's courteous to thank those who have helped you.
Frankly, I've become more and more disinclined to reply to threads helping people, because of the fact that only a minority can be bothered to take the 20 seconds it takes to post saying "thanks". The lack of basic manners in people today is absolutely abysmal.
