Heh, wow, that trailer is very cool. The shot where the character is watching the thing turn cracked me up and made me lol. Very cool - can't wait for more! Keep us posted!

Also, a great sense of atmosphere in the wide shot.:thumbsup:

Like the mirage reflection effect on the sand, could u share a few tips on how u did that, excellent render and models by the way, very impressed.
Plz update, this is very cool.

I plan on putting some "making of" stuff on the site soon.

But the quick lo-down on the mirage is:

In post I copied the frames and inverted them (top to bottom). Then I made an irregular shaped mask for the general look and, with a displacement on top of it, made it ripple.
