Ok i am helping right_on_cats
here's the image (http://www.villagephotos.com/viewpubimage.asp?id_=4866429) : Environment: Old Factory by right_on_cats :)
here are a few things to think about..
why are those drums sitting smack in the way of traffic?
why are those square lights making huge specular highlights on the pipes? they should be much weaker. also a dirty pipe that's showing the kind of rusting you're showing wouldnt be causing such a large specular highlight inthe first place. think spec map.
what's the ceiling made of? and why are there oil stain looking things on there? i'd lose that myself.. make it look like concrete or something more recognizable.
also i don't like the texture on the big wall pipes.. it's all over the place without any purpose.. rust should form around certain areas more rapidly than others.. like where the fittings and bolts are.
some other textures look too large and they make objects look smaller. the drums for example.
i like the floor texture and the ceiling pipes.. although i'd consider making the U shaped brackets another texture/material. maybe changing the tint on the pipes away from green..
so anyhow.. good luck with it. these are my opinions, nothing more.

its a good start... Have afew questions though.. I animate how Heat recovery steam Generators are costructed (basically a 6 story tall radiator for power plants) and I have been to many sites... What are the purpose for the pipes in the scene? Most pipes that diameter have isulation (usually aluminum sometimes a cloth type material depending on the expansion, temp pressure ect...). But that also depends on what type of flud is running thru there... If there is rust on the out side of the pipe, than it should be moist in the scene. Also most bare tubes/pipes are black, unless they are stainless steel, in witch there wouldn't be any rust... I notice you have valve opperators, but no valves? you may want to model the valve body between the pipes. right now the wheels look side they are going dirrectly into the pipe, no valve or anything... Aslo... they look like the only reason why they are there is to shut off the flow of water.. so maybe keep it uniform and ad one to all of the pipes on the wall. The pipe on the celing looks like it might be plastic? I really like how you layed out your supports... you might wan to ad another piece to the supports going accross top of the pipe.if you were to make the pipes with alluminum insulation, than the spec is ok, if not than you may want to change it.. Some of the vents along the bottom are dirrectly infront of pipes, actaully they all are... what are they for? I really like the floor texture as well...These are just some of my ideas... not that what you have is bad or anything this is just my opinion... its still a good pic :)
