Hi!

I had some spare time on my hands, and thought I'd make an Avatar\icon for myself. I'm nearly done with it, but would like some last-minute crits.

It's made in a couple of hours, Max 5.1 and poorly textured..

i dont know what u look like, but ill say just a few minor things

the lower lip seems funky (speaking towards naturalism) but then again (as i said above) dont know what u look like

the eyebrows: have u thougth about just modeling a shape for them rather then a paint smear? that might have a better effect

eyelids: right now they are paper thin.

thats all really.

your anatomy understanding seems strong, keep it up.

I also don't know what you look like but I'm sure your head is not as cubed as you model. It just doesn't look natural. I agree with the other post, try and model the eyebrows intead of painting a smudge in photoshop. That's all, keep it up.

Hi again! here's how it looks so far, almost done now.
I actually DO look that blocky LOL , but it is an EXAGGERATED selfportrait..
Since last, I've taken away the insane dent on the forehead, liftet the chin a little, and put in some eyes. Yes I should probly make a model for the eyebrows, but it's a lot of work for an Avatar, and I'm not quite sure whats the best way to do it- any HELP here is appreciated.
