nataz 09-10-2003, 12:37 PM i wish you can help with this little one; id on't know if i should extrude the wing out of this baby body or make a separate object ???
You can see on the picture where the wing skin is to stitch to the body...

If you are going to animate it I would try and make it one object.
What you could do of course is trace out splines that follow the shape of the wing, build it and then attach it to the body mesh.
I've got a fantastic Maya 3D buzz tutorial on a DVD of a cover disc somewhere but I cannot find it on their site. :-(

Personally I would model the wing separately and then weld it to the body, but you can do it either way. Or you could model it point-by-point and use the Bridge/Make Poly tools. Or extrude edges. It's sort of a matter of taste.

i think i will follow your first advice AdamT; make a separate object then weld it... because extrusion will be way to complex to manage on this mesh
