Been working on a new material,, using the tutorial by Knut

all though I added a bit more to it,, such as starting off with a Shellac material and building from there standard and raytraced material..

I only forgot to turn a Specular light source on,, so none of that on the car for a minute

here are a few teapots unsing this same material

this is the older one,, with shows how flat this thexture was,, Now I have something I hope that will turn out even better tonight,, then maybe a little scene for better reflections,, I have a few things lying around that might help that out.. Later

Whoaa! Very nice! I almost fell of my chair :) . I use too Rhino3D but I dont have any good rendering software :(

thanks guys, I guess you likes the textures,, well I'll get a little more details for it,, the scene.. and maybe I'll update the model a little more,, I'll keep tweeking,, but its close enough to done.

nice looking cars on your site Pete,, been meaning to get around to using some kind of meshed grill like you did with the yellow,, good stuff,, only a bit to dark for me.

are you into Turbo Fords? I'm looking into getting a 2.3l Turbo SVO,, waiting to hear from someone on it,, I think its a 1985 SVO mustang..

Ohhh Ok just found the name of your car,, its a Sierra,,, don't think we have them here in the US,, looks almost like a Murkur Xt4ti,, if that the right name... hehehe

Thanks for your comments. Yep that cosworth Sierra look-a-like is my car :) . But it's just ordinary 2.0 carb engined car (105hp). Maybe in future I buy Sierra XR4X4 (2.8 injection & 4wd) :) .
Have to do my pages in english too but now they are only in finnish...Sorry.
