Hi All,

I am very new to after effects so apologies for asking what will hopefully be a simple problem.

I recently completed a short animation sequence in 3ds max and saved the files as a series of PNG images. I then imported into AE and composited into a quicktime file format (around 80 MBís from 800 MBís). I then imported the quicktime movie to start adding sound effects Ė I finished adding all the audio and went to publish the movie again. Only this time the end result is a file size of around 800 Mbís. Is there a way where AE will not change the video but just add the audio?

Many thanks in advance for any help with this one.

Neil

No, that's not how it works. If you need such, you can easily do it in Quicktime Pro by copy&pasting tracks. for AE, please read the help:
