This is a short car commercial-spot.
Itīs a two-people-project of Jan Maroske and me.
Metalspheres (made in XSI) are falling down from the sky.
It was a spare-time-project, but very much work (we didnīt have much time for it).

Very cool! It's a bit funny that the car survives without a scratch, but it's a very believable piece of work. Good job! What camera did you use to shoot the live action?

That was odd, it wasn't a very good advertisment (unless it is for an ultra-dent-resistent car considering a rock that was making big smashes in the concrete just bounced off the hood :p) but it was intresting.

no, we didnīt use any dynamics (only for some particles ...)
I animated everything - the spheres and the ground with key-framing.
In the shot, where the street is broken I first modelled it and then I animated it with key-framing. (picture on www.thomasbittner.com/index_auto.htm)

A nice short.
I totally don't like the wanna-be audi plate in the end, but I love the credits, nice idea.
I love the bouncing car when hit by one of these balls. Great.

Thanks for your comments (i'm the other half of the team).
@Heaven871 : Garry, I totally agree with you on that plate at the ending. You know, time was short, WIP was near. ;)
The sound also isn't what I call good, but better than nothing...

Hello Thomas!
What a fine shot! I like the smashing stone and the mass which is transported by the animation. It`s also a very cool idea the spot.
go on
