I graduated last March and I have been working as a freelance 3d artist. I feel that I would be a lot happier in a steady work place. I'm looking for something in modeling, but I'll work any other position(s) if need to just to get my foot in the door.
I use:
-3ds MAX5
-LightWave
-Photoshop
-Director MX
-Illustrator
-Aftereffects
-Image Ready
-Premiere
and I've played with:
-Dreamweaver MX
-Flash MX

My art career basically started with the Youth Art Works Program in 1997, where I helped at-risk youth
paint large scale murals around the city of Reno. It was a great experience and I received two Senatorial Certificates for contributing to the community. It also encouraged me to continue my education by enrolling at The Art Institute of Phoenix. I still work with Sierra Art foundation whenever I'm in Reno.
In 1999, I left the Art Institute for an internship at International Game Technology in Reno, Nevada.
Within the first five months there I was given my own game to create, and my second game four months later. I sketched the storyboards, modeled and animated eighty percent of all the in-game scenes and characters. I created concept designs, animation layout, and animatics for level play. I also did some outside photography for background compositions. Some of the games that I worked on were Terminator, Little Green Men and The Adams Family. I enjoyed working for IGT, but after a few years, I felt that I had to complete my degree in Animation, Art and Design back in Phoenix, Arizona.
When I went back to The Art Institute of Phoenix, I worked as a Lab Tech at the school. I worked as a tech just to keep myself immersed in school. I installed software and hardware on Windows and Macintosh. I also helped students troubleshoot minor computer problems. I am now graduated with my Associates in Applied Science in Animation, Art and Design. Upon graduation, I received an award for "Best Portfolio." I am now working as a freelance artist in Phoenix. I just finished a commercial for the new product called “The Heeler”, where I did all of the CGI work and storyboarding.
In all of this chaos, I like to make time to Snowboard, Wakeboard, and surf when ever I can get to the beach. I also like to take time and go camping, but what I really enjoy is 3D art. I’m most interested in fantasy artists like Frezzato, Bisley, Serpieri and countless others. I also draw inspirations from Urban Art, and some say that I have a dash of anime style but say that it comes from reading comics when I was younger. I spend 75 percent of my time on a computer, just working on anything I can think of. Lately I’ve been working as a Freelance Artist , but I would rather be part of a team. I miss the whole gathering of the minds. I strive for excellence in whatever that I do, and because of this I feel that I would be a great addition to any company. Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions about me or my work.
