Dont take this as a harsh crit since the scene is looking good to begin with, but something jumping out there and screaming at me is the scale of the room. Look at your room width, then make it more proportional to the height. This will really bring the image together.
Also the molding at the top of the wall is really thick. It should only run down the wall say barely half what it is now.
The lighting wont bounce back as brightly to create that sortof shadow on the dresser. The light sorce over to the left is just a night lite and aint gonna do it.
Keep workin.

the scene looks like a great start, especially your lighting and its effects, (through the window)

i think your shaders need more bump, much more decals and grim.

as most computer renderings will look, everything is sterile and hospital like. no dust, no scrathes very little bump texture to the surfaces. those are very neccasery for the hyper realistic look of Pixar (if thats what ur looking for)

from an architectural stand point,, well i have very little training in that feild. however the ceiling defienetly feels too low

maybe also put some pictures hanging on the wall?

Yeah, about the ceiling height, I think that the fisheye lens I have on it is making it look way off. I was trying to show off the entire room. But it does go up 10 ft.

I agree about the dirt and posters. I shouldn't have really called this "finished" as I planned on added more grime and props...

Great comments all, Keep em coming.

Good job

It's not that the ceiling is too high, it's that the room is too big. I mean, i'm sure every child would like such a big room - scattering your lego all over doing big bases and stuff... Can you put 6 bads in your own room?? If so, you'r a lucky reach guy :D

I should have stated that more clearly.
Room to wide
Moulding to tall
Lighitng need attention
Room look good

Post an update when you scale it in, i look forward to seeing it.

The scale or perspective doesnt bother me but the lack of shadows is rather odd.
Everything looks like its floating but very cool modeling.
