hey any one know a good character tutorial?

I don't know of any off hand. Although hopefully soon I will be launching something that will make the rigging process much simpler and less time consuming.
It will be basically like the setup machine is for LW and Maya.
I hop to launch by the end of the month.I will post on it soon.
Did I mention it will be cheaper than the setup machine?

Not sure if it's what your looking for or if you can get a copy, but Octobers 3D World Magazine has a character tutorial for C4D with a tutorial for animation in the next issue (November) :)

Jeffry Lew, a character animator who's worked on 'X-Men-2' and was lead animator on 'Matrix: Reloaded' is releasing a DVD just on Character Animation. He says it's the result of various programs/lessons he's put together to train ainimators that he was supervising.
Mr. Lew is best known for his "Killer Bean" series, done with Hash's Animation:Master, but he says the technique is what counts, not the software package.
