View Full Version : dual monitor set up question

I have a dual monitor set up and have some floating panels on the second monitor while I have the main work area on the main monitor; so far so good, now when I minimize Max all of the floating panels bounce back to the middle of the main monitor and have to move them back everytime. I had enough of this. Not even locking the UI works. Am I missing something?

if u r using an nvidia card, check your nview options, i think there is one that snaps everything to one monitor or the other. if u hav a different video card, i'm really not sure. might be the same kinda thing in their drivers as well.

oh man, do I feel dumb now.

In Lightwave the non modal panels work without fiddiling with nview options so I thought Max did as well; anyways, thanks for the tip... frustration level going down already:)
