Hi,
I studied how to do a motion paths and I have a question.
I made a object follow a curve between frames 30 to 70 for exemple, and i want to make the object rotate , move and so on ...but that is not effect by the curve.
How can i do that? Is it possible?
Cause in my tests the object doesn't leave the curve orientation.

Thanks.

if i'm understanding you correctly, i may have an answer for you :)

before you attach the object to the path, group it to itself (and center the new group node's pivot). then attach the new parent node above your object to the path. Now what you have is an object that follows the path only because its parent node is directly attached to the path. you now have the power to separately keyframe any motion/deformation on the object directly without affecting its movement along the path. thus the power of maya's node structured hierarchy system!!

hope this helps.
