background info : rayder dragon, it is easily caught and is going to be in a rocky area. it breathes fire, and hopefully i can make it posible to ride this east

Well i'm just learning this stuff myself, so i'll refrain from a Crit, but i can tell you that replies are sometimes slow in this forum. Just remember to breath, stay calm, and continue focusing on your work. Keep up the hard work; you will get your comments soon enough.

Make the tail thicker to offset his balance.. Also work on making the wings look like modified arms more.. YOu getting there, but they still look a little "stuck on".

Where is your reference?

The claws on his feet have too much smoothing in reference to the rest of the body.. you can reduce some here without loosing much.

I think your definitely on the right track. The only thing that throws me off are the wings. I'm not to sure why, maybe length.
If its for a game don't forget to save allot of polys for the head. You can put allot of detail in the head and make it look sweet!

I think it's the legs that's the problem rather than the wings. The wings look in proportion, but the legs seem to be too far away from the body, so the Dragon isn't as streamlined as it would need to be in flight.

What program are you using? I ask because your use of polygons is a mess. You've put added detail for the feet, which could be accomplished with a texture only... and the poly usage for the wings and body are terrible compared to the legs. The result will be an uneven model with a higher polycount than you want. Many edges on the chest need to be turned.

I like the shapes for the character, but they need to be simplified. If you're working in quads, try making your shapes more rounded. Take away polys that don't affect the actual shape of the model as a whole.

hey thanx for all your replies i neatened out the faces and spready them a little more evenly around the model, but i dont think should bother putting up a pic just yet until ive done the head, then ill start working on the armour and the pilot of the dragon. sadly my scanner is broken and the only referenc im using is look at my paper then look at the screen for now. only problem i have now is i dont yet have a wacom tablet and i dont know how to make uvwrap texture any one know any tutes??
