Hi everybody !
I've just finished my short animation featuring my first toon character : Toony Ravioli.

I plan to make several funny animations like that with this character during my spare time, which will take months and months unfortunatly...

Don't pay too much attention to the sound since I'm not good at sound editing at all, I just tried to do my best to give my animation a soundtrack.

The only technical problems I've noticed are the texture of the ground that seems to flicker a bit in the back (maybe an antialiasing issue), and I'm not entirely satisfied with the ears movement.

Comments and critiques are most welcome !

Maybe the video is too large.

Here is a 360x288 version of 5Mb :

It seems the server has some problems, if the link seems broken just copy it directly in the address bar and it should work.

Thanks DeathGoth, I know it is short but it's just an introduction. I plan to make real short stories of 1 or 2 minutes when I have time.

Unfortuanately I could not get the animation to run. I did however check out your website and the models are really well done.

Dude, that's awesome. Good work. Rendering style reminds me of Futurama...

I really didn't see anything wrong with it. Good timing and weight. The only part that seems strange to me is just seeing the head as the alien comes down. The sky needs something... maybe clouds, several moons, or somesuch to make it more interesting.

Anyway, cheers,

-Tony

This ain't gonna work for any mac people since it's gonna need DivX and the link you gave will not work in any download application...so it loads in the browser and can't see it. Any chance you can make a .mov or get better hosting for the .avi? Would love to see this work..

Wow thanks for all these comments people ! I'm very happy you like my very (too) short animation !

Sorry for the video format cybling, it is compressed in Xvid.
Now you can see a 360x288 quicktime version here :

quicktime 360x288 8Mb (http://www.seb4d.fr.st/video/ToonyRavioli_360x288_qt.mov)
I'm not very familiar with quicktime so I hope it's not too badly encoded (Sorenson3 video, mpeg4 audio).
