View Full Version : Help with texturing.. URGENT!
b0nny 09-08-2003, 11:10 AM I have a big problem with texturing..
When i texture more than one object in 3dsm i sometimes need to use UVW maps (at least i think so), but the problem is that when i have several objects that use uvw maps all but one object becomes completely black when rendering..
Any ideas?

No idea. Need more details, what kind of material are you using? Are they separate objects, or parts of one object?
Sounds like you haven't gone through the tutorials.

Looks to me like the size of your diffuse Noise needs to be adjusted. The pattern may be so large that all you can see is one of the two colors. Or it may be too small.

I would suggest spending the time to go through the tutorials. These will solve not only this question, but many many others you will have.
