I´ve made this from a foto with a house on. I first removed the background and the first fluor from the origional foto and then added a 3d roof/first fluor and a new background. I will be adding a bit of film grain to the roof to make it blend in more but if you have any great comments about improvement plz. tell :wavey:

Hmm, the lighting doesn't seem to be quite the right colour, it needs more yellow. Your shadows are way too soft. Look at the eaves trough and see how sharp the shadows are on it. Your dormer windows should be casting a similar shadow on the roof. A little bit of a blur would help too. Look at the softness of the original house, and get your roof edge to match.

Few things to add for improvement to the 3d model. 1. Everything looks way too flat. You need to either use displacement maps or actually model the roof tiles and brick chimney to give it more places to catch the light. 2. Add some diffuse light in there. Your current light is way too bright for your scene. It looks like you have one big directional light that is turned up too high.
Keep up the good work :)
