Just looking to call the preferences in a script...for instance.

I want to write a script that runs on startup and automatically checks to see if the multiprocessing is turned on and if not turns it on...any help?

There's a specific method for opening and modifying the prefs. It's certainly in the scripting guide either in the global methods or the app... methods section.
