View Full Version : Free home made HDR probes available for download!
Olmirad 09-08-2003, 03:06 AM Hi all!
As there are so few free hdr probes / maps available on web, i thought to make a small contribution to cg community and donate a few free probe images :) Only limitation is that you cannot use them for commercial work without my permission.
You can find four (4) hdr probes on my site. I made them while I had short summer vacation.
As topic says, no demo stuff, no tags or cripples.
Probes are in Mirror Ball format, easily converted to other format with HDRShop... File format is Radiance HDR.
Here's a small thumbnail of one of those probes:

Are there any tutorials out there explaining HDR, what is it, how is it used, etc. I keep seeing HDR mentioned but have no idea what it's all about.
Maybe you could provide a tutorial on it.

Three (3) new probes posted on my site! Have fun etc.
Here's a thumbnail set of new probes (not a link).

And here's the link again in case someone didn't find it in first message ;)
And just to remind you all, it would be nice to see what you're using these for! Post test renders, images, something... Or a link in e-mail to me. 2 people have done that so far.
