Moment - Great concept and execution in such a short time! Great work and really gets the point across of Einstein's legacy. Basically atomic bombs and radioactive waste..

I spent 30 minutes creating the following image in Photoshop with a graphics tablet.

I was going for the Ozymandias vibe here.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ozymandias

"I met a traveller from an antique land,
Who said: Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert..."

I was going for the pun on 'legacy/leg-a-sea' as well, though, and referencing Talos from the original Jason and the Argonauts movie and also the broken statue from Lost.

I decided that this image was too embarrassing to present on its own, as I hadn't thought about how to execute it at all. I just sat at PS and started painting away. I decided to try again and created the following drawing from scratch, using pencil and paper which I then inked over. Total time for this second drawing was 25 minutes.

I'm much happier with the second attempt and may use it as a basis for a new version of the 'leg-a-sea' image at some time.

I love the atomic Einstein as it combines two iconic images and is both interesting and meaningful. brookselliott, is that the image of Alfred Hitchcock from his television series? I'm not sure if everyone will recognize this without a hint.

spwilcock - ya! You are correct it is a different take on the standard Alfred Hitchcock profile turned sideways. Kinda goofy I know but at least its something. Its tough to come up with something for these short time sketches but it seems you've got a leg up on the topic. Pun intended..
