Hello I was wondering if anybody knows anything about this, is there any SVN plugins, scripts or tools available for Maya 2010 that are production ready?

I found this but it is not ready for production.

Does anyone knows where can I find a subversion integration for Maya?

any suggestion for a better and free asset managment system also appreciated!

I haven't looked but I'd be surprised if there wasn't already a Python wrapper for the Subversive library you could use.

Why exactly would you want this anyway?
