I was lookin around in the camera tracker node for the 3d tracking but cant seem to locate it or am i using the wrong node

you running NukeX ? as its only this version that has it in the 3d menu.

the cameraTracker should also be appearing in the "small" Nuke-version, since you can apply camera-tracks made in nukeX there

otherwise there's a nice short tutorial about the new tracker in the docs :)
