I am making a horror animation in Flash CS4, and was thinking about adapting my final work into AE, to add some cool transitions between scenes, camera movements, depth and finally - some neat Effects, to make the creepy scenes more creepy.
Which particular effects can you recommend to use, to make the supreme horror atmosphere? To narrow it down, I am going to make a few examples of the scenes that I want to create and the atmosphere that I want to achieve:
1) Surveillance camera effect
2) Distortion of paranormal effects e.g. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Ori4KGvRoY
3) Manipulation of the face: to enlarge the mouth and eyes, make them change color. Eventually adding a minor glow to the eyes (but I assume that it is normal Glow effect?) e.g. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M4BGjMo5IUg
Please suggest me anything horror-like that I can achieve in AE, even if I didn't mention it earlier.
