Gday people,
Im trying to get an effect whereby my lights shine throught the leadlighting in this hallway and show up the colours that make up the leadlights on the opposite wall. Ive played around with transluceny and what not but...it just doesnt quite seem right. For some odd reason it shows up from one of the lights, the coloured shadows but not the rest of them. The material has been applied to all of the leadlights but still nothing. Is there something Im missing, or an easier to get this done?

It'll be much faster to render (and thus easier to tweak->better end result) by faking this effect by using the 'projection map' function in the spotlight.
Put your glass-in-lead texture in the projection map slot and your light will project it onto your wall. Maybe paint a different texture which is less bright at the edges of the window.

And don't forget the volume lights (beams of light) with the small dust particles to set the mood! :)
