View Full Version : morphing skelegons
roguenroll 09-07-2003, 05:47 AM this might not be poss. and my first test didn't work, but what I want to do is a cord shooting up out of a grapl gun.
so the stretching, sizing, width and such are needed to give it that look.
Im using the slug tut. and morphing a rope onto a spiral of skeleies.
just wondring if this will work.

You cannot morph skelegons. I would use motion designer or shift spline transform, a free plugin. You can find it on flay. :)

check out cellshaders website, I think she did a grapling hook animation that might be worth looking at.

The nice thing about spline transform is that you can control the deformations with a spline. Ive used it recently to do some complicated animation to a cable and its been very stable and predictable. As Jockomo said, Jens got a nice grappling hook scene that she did with MD. The only downside is if youre not real up on MD and need to get this done I would suggest SST. :)
