View Full Version : Character: Gunslinging Assassin
eirenicon 09-07-2003, 04:43 AM This character is loosely based on the assassin Jon Amraphel from Errant Story (http://www.errantstory.com/), written and illustrated by Michael Poe. I say loosely because I took my own artistic liberties with him, but you can see the original character here (http://www.errantstory.com/gallery25.html). Or just read Errant Story, it's excellent stuff.

Sorry I cant really give you any specific crit but there's something about the pose of your character that bothers me.

It's a little dark but it might help to know that his arms are mostly covered with a cloak. They do look a little off still, but I'm finished with this piece, I think. I've spent enough time on it already :D
Thanks.

Errg. His eyes. Make them bigger and less sucked-in to his skull. It took me a minute to notice it but, the rest of the body seems ill-proportioned too. Why are his arms so pencil-thin? Textures and lighting =really good though.

His hands seem smaller. Were the hands supposed to be posed that way it looks kind of unproportional(placement).

hey man it's got alot of potential but as it is right now there arms hands are too small they look like he's got a skeleton arms and hands holding revolvers , also his forehead is way too big he looks kinda like cromagnon man with skeleton arms. i dont mean to be mean im just telling you what ive noticed. keep up the good work and if u decide to update it sho us the new version

His forearms look kinda sticklike too. And I personally feel that hit head sticks forward too much as well. It's a good start though. Perhaps a more weathered face texture might add something.
PS: His eyes look really small.
