The backgorund's ligtning doesn't matches tight with the scene's light setup...
The background's sky seems to bee odd. I don't exactly know why, maybe the grey tint... It's like the background lacks contrast, or lightness. It's even more disturbing in the smaller windows, where that piece of river/rocks look like it was just an ol, faded poster from the late 80's...
If you plan to keep that backround, IMO you should change the scene's light setup a bit. Desaturate colors, and add some gloomy tuch to it.... And with a not so bright sun, the strong shadows under the kitchen cupboard on the wall won't be that odd too...
Otherwise good modelling, and camera placement. Makes me wan't to buy wooden kitchen stuff. Would be great in some kind of magazine.

I'm gonna change the background, it's just temporaly...
but yes, it looks like faded poster from the late 80's hehehe
It's an image i'll take from the environnement map library of 3d studio max :)

Nice pic, but the metal texture on the sink and faucet looks kinda fake, and the bench looks a bit bare. Things you could add: Toaster, fridge, fruit bowl, stove top, knife holder, kettle, I don't know, just more kitchen type stuff...
