I'm not sure if this counts as an animation, but it's a video :)

Whilst waiting at the airport for my next flight I decided to speed model a cloudscape in Blender. With only an hour of battery life on my laptop, I had to be fast! I ended up finishing it in just under 52 minutes.
Made in Blender 2.5 using the new powerful volumetric rendering system. The sun was added in Photoshop.
