Ok, since you asked.
The tank treads are very low detail, couldnt you make them have indentations instead of just being blocks.
A lot of the tank seems to be infinatly thin, bevel the edges esp the ones at the front to make it more thick, and more realistic.
nothing on the tank appears to be part of the same thing, it all looks just placed on top of each other. try to blend other parts togehter, esp where the barrel and turret meet.
sort out the fact that the tracks at the back are going throught the wheel, not round it.
Give the mounted machine gun more detail, and dont make it a rifle, it should be a machine gun (M60, GPMG). also texture it.
Change the texture on the tank.
dont light it up with GI and one spotlight. use lower power lights and more of them.

Honestly... I love it, except for the things he said, I think its a very good concept. Looks like a "heavy duty tank". Seems the tank looks lifted up higher than normal tanks too, more offroad, and looks more powerful.
If you can get a dark grey, hard metal look to it, it woudl look more durable. Right now it looks odd with that material, but hey, its a WIP... Great job, and good luck to the future production too it :)
EDIT: This is just an idea, but you could make it a bit longer... Add a few more details, and for the existing parts on the surface of it, create objects to make it look welded to the tank, more umm... "sturdy" looking. Also needs bolts, like the little bumps all over it like the hummer... make this look like a beast, right now its kinda plain. GL dude!
Another EDIT: Just noticed, you have three cylinder things sticking out of the head. Meaning, it looks like the head cant swing around, so now the turret can only be aimed in one area. Also looks liek it cant aim up or down. Not really an effective tank because of that. In combat it woudl be blown to pieces, because you gotta depend on driving to aim ;)

acctually you are wrong on this. The Swedes (i think, some crazy scandinavians anyway) have made a prototype tank which has no turret. It can spin round on its tracks fast enough to out perform a turret, it has active hydraulic suspension which means it can change its elevation faster than a turret, and more accuratly too. However the advantage with this tank is that the profile is much smaller, the tank here does not have this advantage, and so would be disadvantaged to something like a T-80.
Ohh, and im a lass ^_^
ALSO this tank has no axles!! thats why it looks so high of the ground. the wheels are not connected to anything, you need to make them otherwise your tank will fall down and not go anywhere (which would be funny).

AFAIK it is not unusual that you have to wait longer that an hour for replies, you start re-asking for them 45 minutes after posting.
For the tank: my crits are already mentioned so:beer: keep going
cheers
