View Full Version : Remove verts when deleting edges.
Andyjaggy 03-24-2010, 02:15 PM One of my annoyances with Max is that when I delete and edge or edge loop it doesn't remove the associated vertices with it. So I then have to go back in and delete all the verts. Basically a huge waste of time. There may be some situations where I want to keep the verts, but I don't want it to be the default. Is there something I am missing? I assume there must be a way to remove the verts when I delete an edge loop without having to do it separately.

Yeah this has been driving me nuts for the past year I've been using Max, as it is inconsistent with the behavior of every other app I have used. I'm not sure why I didn't do a google search earlier to figure out how to solve it. I guess it wasn't too big of deal since I do most of my heavy modeling in Modo.
Also, holding CTRL while clicking "Remove" in Edit Poly also removes the verts. Backspace is just a hotkey for "remove".

Ditto, thanks
