What are the best and fastest GI settings for animation

I am making a 3d model of an exhibition.
I want to make walk through and render it in GI. It is only a camera animation so there are no moving objects in it.
What are the most optimal GI settings for the fastest render times?

The Tuts and Tips thread should have a pretty good list
of do's and don't's by Per.

Other than that, it really depends on the materials in the scene.
Glass, trans and reflections all eat up time.
Baking may be an advantage.
