There are quite a few different styles for making buildings for games. Im wonder which methods are most common.
For example, I often start with a box.. then extrude faces a bit to add thickness, and make walls double sided. Though using extrude edges will automaticaly add a double sided wall (though a bit thin). I use inset for making windows & other cut outs, etc.
Any other great tips as far as max modeling goes? Use of double sided textures to save on polys, etc?
