You need BodyPaint to do this in Cinema.

If you don't have BP :wavey: - save to OBJ and use an external app such as LithUnwrap or UVMapper to layout your UV's, then import back into Cinema.

I believe there is a free or extremely cheap plugin for C4d that also allows for you to have simple UV editing abilities and the display of UV's overtop of the texture like in BP or UVW unwrap

I think Kaiskai's talking about this -> http://www.strange-phenomenom.de/pmwiki-0.4.25//index.php/Pluginsc4d/UvMapper?/

Haven't tried it myself yet... But there it is!

You can ask for the uv(w) Unwrap plug in to Michael_Welter@t-online.de
he's the one who made it but i don't have the site adress...

After a little work on your mesh (disconnect all the parts you want to paint) it works pretty well though i don't use it a lot as i have BP.
