Apologies in advance if this is better suited to the Compositing forum.
On my render farm, I have Backburner Web Monitor running on Apache on a machine running Fedora. According to the Install Guide, the users specified as comma-separated arguments to BackburnerAdministrators in the wiretap.cfg file are given admin privileges, like so:
/usr/discreet/backburner/cfg/wiretap.cfg:
...
BackburnerAdministrators=backburner,admin_user1,admin_user2
But it isn't working for me - all users authenticated in /etc/httpd/auth/backburner.auth get the standard "Activate" and "Restart" buttons, but no admin privileges at all.
While troubleshooting, I've ensured that:
1. the machine runnning Backburner Manager also has BackburnerAdministrators defined in wiretap.cfg
2. POSIX Permissions allow all users to read wiretap.cfg, and
3. Backburner Manager logs that "Wiretap interface connected to the local manager" on startup.
I don't think I've missed anything, and Backburner will accept, queue and run jobs without error. What am I missing? Is this working for anyone else? TIA.
