Hi..

I just got a AVI video file from a friend but I can't look at it. When I open it in Quicktime is says it is in "AVRn format" and it's all white?

I have also tried to open it with Windows Mediaplayer and DivXplayer on a PC but it didn't work.

I think the clip is edited on some Avid system but I don't know for sure?
Do anyone know of any codec or player I can use to open the clip and then export the file to uncompressed QT or AVI or tiff files?
If it works in OSX it would be nice but Windows is ok too.. :)

Try these (http://mthlorraine.free.fr/Download/avidcodec_nt.exe) codecs (825kb - self extracting exe) and also these (http://mthlorraine.free.fr/Download/AvidQTCodecs9.3(Windows).zip) (for Quicktime).

Not sure if people are supposed to distribute these codecs outside Avids website, but hopefully nobody will mind. I only found the links on the Internet.
