Anyway, I'm sure some people here would be interested in this news: EXCLUSIVE: FAMILY GUY - The Movie! In an exclusive interview with Coming Attractions at Cinescape, FAMILY GUY creator Seth McFarlane told us that the rumor about the possible return of his TV show is about to become a reality. A deal is imminent for McFarlane to continue creating new animated adventures of Quahog's nuttiest, funniest dysfunctional family, the Griffins.
"It's all come down to the budget right now. We're hashing it out," McFarlane tells CA. "It would be a direct-to-DVD project."

Cinescape- McFarlane's now-cancelled series is proving to be more popular in its afterlife than it was when it was in active production on Fox
This is the funniest show EVER, I never understood why it was cancelled. There were some shows that had me laughing SO hard... I'm out to buy the DVD set as soon as I can. I watch religiously on Cartoon Network. I love Family Guy

dvd season three and news of a movie, friggin awsome! almost as good as a Gumble to Gumble marathon.
anyone know when the "unreleased" episode will air on Cartoon Network? for those who don't know, Fox would not allow one episode on becuase it dealt with Religion to much. but, Cartoon Network will. i've looked around and no one has a date for it [and i've might of missed it because i work late some nights].

the dvd sales are very high so chances that some other network will pick it up again is pretty high.
Most likely it'll be cartoon network.

yeah, see, Fox was convinced this show was just not able to be popular, because the ratings had been dropping like flies during the 2nd season... they couldn't figure out why...
seems Cartoon Network knew why... all it takes is a little promotion here and there. that's all I'm gonna say.

and i do believe Fox moved Family Guy around acouple times [which doesn't help] and i have no idea why they didn't put Family Guy and Futurama on the same nights from the get go. Then again, Fox moved Futurama to Sunday nights at 7:00 [up against 60 minutes and if ANY football game ran over, Futurama didn't get shown].

Fox still owns it though right? So they might run it again to get the ratings rather than let Cartoon Network run it. Now that Cartoon network has already done all the work of selling the DVDs.
I jsut bought both, watching from the begining, just noticed that the voices change, but that always hppens with cartoons. I like that chick from "That 70's Show " better than the one they had in the begining playing Meg. Aparently there was a few episodes that I missed. I think it was because Fox moved it around so much I never really knew when it was on. I only started watching religiously when Cartoon network started rerunning it.
But I always thought it was funny as hell! :applause:
