This is using Lightwave 3D, Photoshop and a pencil. ;) I started doing this as a color sketch for a painting, but now I dont think I can pull off this painting in acrylics like I had planned to. :blush: Thought I'd post it here and see what you guys/gals had to say about it so far.
(the lines in the characters are from me drawing on lined notebook paper, don't mind them)

nice work but it would be a nice idea if u could........put some green glowy shades on the walls as well.......like it coming on the aliens face and body

give it a try w/ acrylics it might be fun.

thanks for the comments. i am going to attempt this in acrylics...the problem lies in the fact that i use acrylics like watercolors. Very thin layers of color that are very transparent just like watercolors. If I were doing this painting in oil or opaque acrylic it wouldn't be near as hard to do the glowing and stuff. but the whole reason i did this on the computer was to challenge myself on canvas with new things I haven't done before, like the glowing effect, and the transparent creatures. :cool:
