View Full Version : Vray for Maya - Compositing shader?

I frequently use the "Use Background" shader in Maya for shadow/reflection catchers.
However, the transparency of this shader doesn't seem to work in Vray for Maya which pretty much makes it useless (it just renders pure black instead of semi-transparent).

Is there another way to get some kind of shadow/reflection shader working in Vray for Maya?

vray has reflection and shadow render passes that work just fine. No separate shader needed.
