View Full Version : Rendering in edged faces?

I was wondering if there was a way to make a texture that made it so when you render in wire-frame, and you don't want it double-sided, parts that are on the same side, however covered up, don't show. An example of what I don't want is in the attachment.

Finally, I was wondering if there was any way to render in edged faces (have the wire show, but still have the solid model show under where the wire is.)

Thank's in advance for your help.

Copy the model. Apply a Push modifier, give it .1 or so. Apply a wireframe material to the copy. Works pretty well, but you may notice weird pinching near the verts (limitation of max's wireframe method).

Or you could try Snotmonster's Edgemap, but you may see artifacts on long thin faces.
