I fixed this link so you don't need to "save as" and waste your valuable disk space.
This was my submission to the AMD animation contest. Haven't won yet but we'll see.
I did this entire thing within the 3 week deadline.

It looks great. The animation is maybe a little unrefined in areas, but I like the overall look. Although I do think that the supercomputer at the end could use a little more work. It just looks kind of unimpressive for what it is supposed to be. maybe some cooler textures or more flashing lights would help. It looks very primative and kind of slapped together.

no offense but i really wouldn't call yourself the winner just yet. its pretty good overall, but there are a couple problems that i noticed. the feet seem kind of dead, and hands hit a lot of unnatural positions. good luck though.

I think it looks real good.

I am working on a 3dsmax animation where I need some electrical cords hanging like yours. I am trying to use the flex modifier but I am having trouble with them moving right through my other objects and I can't seem to get it to flex around bends without stretching in length.

Can you spare any tips?

I realize there are some minor issues but I just did the best I could in only three weeks. Given the deadline, I'm pretty happy with it. Not really worth going back to fix though. I'd rather move on to something new. And yes I used the rope simulator in reactor.

Not to be a dick, but yeah, you might have just jinxed yourself saying you are the winner already.

all in all I thought it was ok, though.

yeah, the title on the post was just my lame attempt to get people to actually watch this. I wanted some honest crit. and so I thought this would get peoples attention. What I forgot to put in the title of the post was ???? Honestly, I don't really expect to win. But what the hell, no harm in trying.
